REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA

**Ends Thursday, January 22nd**

Don't miss your chance to see the Tucson premiere of the new cult/horror/sci-fi/musical extravaganza that's sweeping the country!

"It's not often you come across a film as unique as this ..." - Marc Savlov, THE AUSTIN CHRONICLE

"This goth rock opera features buckets of gore, a campy score and melodrama galore in a calculated effort to become a 21st-century Rocky Horror Picture Show." - Colin Covert, THE MINNEAPOLIS STAR TRIBUNE

"Certainly in the future, depicted here so stylishly, Andrew Lloyd Webber is probably turning in his grave." - Edward Douglas, COMINGSOON.NET

You say you love gory horror flicks, strange sci-fi movies, black leather goth extravagance and over-the-top campy musicals? Well you're in luck, because REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA is heading to The Loft Cinema, and you just might never be the same! Starring what may go down as one of the most bizarre casts in movie history (Anthony Stewart Head from Buffy the Vampire Slayer!, Alexa Vega from Spy Kids!, Paul Sorvino from Goodfellas!, Sarah Brightman from Phantom of the Opera!, and yes ... Paris Hilton from One Night in Paris!), REPO! is the latest freak-fest from Darren Lynn Bousman, one of the deviants responsible for the ever-popular Saw franchise.
In the year 2056 (a world where surgery addicts are hooked on painkilling drugs and murder is sanctioned by law), following an epidemic of human organ failure, the GeneCo Corporation grows and installs new organs on a massive scale. The business, though, necessitates the employment of repo men to reclaim the organs from clients who miss their payments. Repo man and single father Nathan Wallace (Anthony Head) keeps his job a secret from his terminally ill daughter, Shilo (Alexa Vega), doing it only to pay for her costly medication. Determined to beat the odds, the sheltered young girl takes it upon herself to search for a cure to her own rare disease as well as information about her family's mysterious history. After being sucked into the haunting world of GeneCo, she is unable to turn back, as all of her questions will be answered at the wildly anticipated spectacular event: The Genetic Opera!
Compellingly strange, REPO! resembles a comic book-influenced goth dinner theater production set within a dystopian video game. Musically leaping from libretto-like sung dialogue to pop-punk tunes, Broadway-style production numbers and soaring Soprano work from Sarah Brightman as pop singer Blind Mag, then liberally doused with cartoonish blood, guts and wacky acting (courtesy of the notorious Ms. Hilton and Skinny Puppy's Nivek Ogre, among others), REPO! is a cult flick-in-the-making that will have you singing and screaming long into the night!
