THE GREATEST CULT MOVIES OF ALL-TIME ARE BACK ON THE BIG SCREEN IN 35 MM!

"EXTREMELY FUNNY. You will laugh. Then you will laugh some more. Then you will laugh still again." - Stephen Hunter, THE WASHINGTON POST

"They bring you the news so you don't have to get it yourself."

If there’s an argument to be made that Will Ferrell was one of the major comic voices of the ’00s, the best defense rests squarely on the polyester-clad shoulders of ANCHORMAN. The first collaboration between Ferrell and writing partner Adam McKay (Talladega Nights, Step Brothers) is still their absurd best, casting Ferrell as the scotch-swilling alpha male / local news anchor Ron Burgundy, whose cocky strut through the musk-and-mustache funk of the ’70s is interrupted by Veronica, an ambitious, upstart “lady reporter” (Christina Applegate) looking to bust some glass ceilings. Ron is willing to play along at first - as long as Veronica stays in her place, covering cat fashion shows, cooking segments, and other "female" interest stories. But when she refuses to settle for being eye candy and steps behind the news desk, it's more than a battle between two perfectly coiffed anchor-persons... it's war. Will the Channel 4 News Team be able to "stay classy" throughout it all?
Co-starring a boatload of great comic actors, including Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Seth Rogen and Fred Willard, hilarious non-sequiters and a fistful of already-immortal catchphrases like "I love lamp," this is one Afternoon Delight you won't want to miss! Easy tigers ...
