"An unsung grindhouse action classic! It's seedy, it's '70s and it totally and completely delivers the goods. Make sure the popcorn is hot and the beer is cold." - COSMIC HEX

"Zack Kane - Manhunter Coming At You!"

When a masked psycho killer terrorizes Los Angeles with his deadly kung-fu moves, and the police can't solve the crimes, it's up to bounty hunter Zack Kane to find and bring the madman to justice, using only brains, talent and—oh yeah – his bare knuckles!
Boasting ace camerawork by the legendary Dean Cundey (Halloween, The Thing, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future), outrageous car stunts and lots of bone-crunching bare knuckle brawling, this gritty urban streetfighter epic, an unsung '70s grindhouse gem, is a model of kick-ass, no-frills action filmmaking.
Starring Robert Viharo (Return to Macon County) as the quasi-insane "hero," John Daniels (Black Shampoo) as Black, his muscle-bound sidekick and Gloria Hendry (Black Belt Jones) as a smooth chick in trouble, BARE KNUCKLES was directed by sleaze-meister Don Edmonds (Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS, Wild Honey), who filled the flick with gloriously clichéd dialogue, unapologetically one-dimensional acting, and an unflinching look at the seamy underbelly of late-'70s L.A. Solid!
