"A bloody, hilarious ride into the twisted recesses of the modern male psyche." - Michael Wilmington, CHICAGO TRIBUNE

"How much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?"

Based on the cult novel by Chuck Palahniuk, FIGHT CLUB is a violent, comedic, no-holds-barred satire of our modern-day consumer society. Edward Norton is the unnamed protagonist, a ticking time bomb insomniac going through life on cruise control. To fill his hours, he begins attending support groups and 12-step meetings. True, he isn't actually afflicted with the problems, but he finds solace in the groups. This comfort is destroyed, however, when he meets Marla (Helena Bonham Carter), a sensual, chaotic eccentric also faking her way through groups. Spiraling back into insomnia, Norton finds his life is changed once again by a chance encounter with Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt), a slippery soap salesman who teaches our hero how to channel primal male aggression into a shocking new form of therapy, a violent release known in underground circles as Fight Club. As this troubled threesome collide with one another, and the Fight Club philosophy begins to take hold, it ignites an out-of control spiral toward oblivion.
