FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is the lavishly produced and critically acclaimed screen adaptation of the Broadway stage sensation, and one of the biggest, most popular musicals in movie history.
The film tells the life-affirming story of Tevye (Oscar-nominated Topol), a poor milkman whose love, pride and faith help him face the oppression of turn-of-the century czarist Russia. Against the backdrop of a country on the verge of revolution, Tevye tries to keep his family's traditions in place while marrying off his three older daughters, but must face the fact that times are changing as his daughters yearn to make their own matches, breaking free of many of the Old World customs required of them by Judaism.
Nominated for eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director (Norman Jewison), and featuring such memorably hummable tunes as "If I Were A Rich Man," "Matchmaker," "Tradition" and "Sunrise, Sunset," FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is a timeless musical classic that's fun for the whole family.

Don't miss FIDDLER ON THE ROOF starring Broadway legend Theodore Bikel, presented by Broadway in Tucson, live on the Tucson Music Hall stage, February 23-28!
