“A finely matched Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan explore the wrinkles of marriage with humor and honesty.” – David Rooney, Hollywood Reporter

Academy Award-winner Jim Broadbent (Iris) and Lindsay Duncan (Mansfield Park) give exquisite performances as Nick and Meg, a long-married British couple revisiting Paris for the first time since their honeymoon, in hopes of rekindling their relationship - or perhaps to bring it to an end. During a two-day escapade, diffident, wistful Nick and demanding, take-charge Meg careen from harmony to disharmony to resignation and back again as they take stock of half a lifetime of deep tenderness - and even deeper regret, in their very own English way. When Meg and Nick run into their insufferably successful old friend Morgan, an American academic superstar with a fancy Parisian address played with pure delight by Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park), their squabbles rise to a register that's both emotionally rich and very funny, leading them to an unexpectedly hopeful vision of what their love and marriage might still become. From director Roger Michell (Notting Hill, Persuasion), and writer Hanif Kureishi (My Beautiful Laundrette, Sammy and Rosie Get Laid). (Dir. by Roger Michell, 2013, UK, 93 mins., Rated R, Music Box Films) Digital
