Exiting the Factory was a title used for the US release of La Sortie des usines LumiÃ¨re Ã Lyon, a film by French director, Louis LumiÃ¨re. Created in 1895, this black and white silent film was less than one minute long and featured workers leaving the LumiÃ¨re plant. The moving image has come a long way since 1895. Exiting Another Factory, features the artworks of ten University of Arizona School of Art graduate students who incorporate time-based forms in their practice.
